Zygo Corporation is preparing to exhibit its non-contact 3D optical metrology solutions at Control 2024.

The company will feature alongside sister AMETEK brands Taylor Hobson, Spectro, and Solartron at the international trade fair on quality assurance in Stuttgart on 23-26 April 2024.

Peter Kuschnir, European Sales Manager at Zygo described Control 2024 as “an important event, with an in-depth focus on cutting edge QA solutions.” The company will be showcasing two of its 3D optical profilers, the ZeGage Pro and NewView 9000.

Kuschnir said: “The ZeGage Pro provides non-contact measurement and characterisation of micro- and nano-scale features of many types of surfaces in a benchtop-form, ensuring quality control and process monitoring in your manufacturing environment. It sets the standard for performance, ease of use, flexibility, and precision of benchtop-class industrial non-contact surface profilers.”

The ZeGage Pro and the New View 9000 are built on ZYGO's proprietary coherence scanning interferometry (CSI) technology, which delivers sub-nanometer precision at all magnifications and is said to measure a wider range of surfaces faster and more precisely than other commercially available technologies. All measurements are non-destructive, rapid, and do not require any sample preparation.

Kuschnir continues, “Flexibility is the hallmark of Zygo’s NewView 9000. It offers exceptional value with applications as varied as flatness, roughness and waviness, thin films, step heights and more. While we are showing the ZeGage Pro alongside the NewView 9000 at Control, Zygo provides an extensive range of optical metrology solutions including laser interferometers and optical profilers, and we would be excited to talk with show visitors about the specifics of your metrology needs for which we are confident we will have an optimal solution."

Earlier this year Zygo announced the release of its latest laser interferometer, Qualifire, which is designed to support and enable demanding metrology applications in various industries. It also announced the expansion of its operations in India with the hiring of a dedicated sales and marketing team to support what the company describes as a 'rapidly growing' manufacturing market.

Members of the Zygo team will be available at Control 2024 in Hall 10, booth #1701.
