Mitutoyo launches its TM Microscope Series for measuring machined metals

Mitutoyo has unveiled its new TM Microscope Series for measuring the dimensions and angles of machined metals. Additionally, the range can also be used to check the shape of screws and gears if the user attaches an optional reticle.
The metrology services provider claims its latest range features a new ergonomic design as well as enhanced elements. With the microscope's minimised footprint, Mitutoyo’s latest launch is ideal for shop floors with a limited amount of space.
Using an eyepiece adapter, the user can attach a c-mount camera to their eyepiece. By doing this, the new microscope series can be converted into a video inspection system. Mitutoyo claims its TM Series microscopes “offer the best-in-class performance for small models” due to the range’s bright and clear field of view.
Mitutoyo’s TM Microscope Series' key features include:
- New LED illuminators provide improved observation with higher accuracy levels and resolution.
- Base design with a lateral notch, making the microscope easier to transport.
- Enhanced extensibility with the optical camera adapter.
- Offers more flexibility with the addition of an AC adapter which covers a wider range of voltages.
- Minimised footprint, making it more suitable for shop floors with a limited amount of space.
