ZEISS VoluMax 9 titan offers reliable and high-resolution defect detection for multi-material components.
ZEISS has launched its new CT system with increased usability, consistency, and efficiency. The VoluMax 9 titan will be able to be used for a variety of applications, including electronic parts and battery modules.
Key information:
- ZEISS has launched its new VoluMax 9 titan CT system.
- The new product connects to the ZEISS Quality Suite, which can perform a large variety of inspection processes.
- One of the key benefits of the VoluMax 9 titan is its compact design, as it allows the system to be installed in most laboratories and near production lines.
The VoluMax 9 titan comes with 450kV, allowing for the reliable and consistent detection of defects in large, high-density parts and complex multi-material assemblies. Parts up to 590 x 700mm can be measured by the new system, with dense parts able to be inspected at a high resolution due to the 1,500W and 3k-detector.
ZEISS’ new launch requires an installation area of only 750 x 2,350 x 1,750mm. Its compact design makes it ideal for most laboratory and production line settings. The VoluMax 9 titan also features an improved axis system and integrated control panel, which has improved the flexibility of the system while making the loading process easier. Overall, the compact design has improved the life cycle of the product, whilst also ensuring a low maintenance level.
Additionally, the VoluMax 9 titan benefits from its connection with the ZEISS Quality Suite which supports all steps of the inspection of parts. The software helps the ease of use of the VoluMax 9 titan, whilst also providing various additional add-ons, like the AI-based software solution ZEISS Automated Defect Detection (ZADD), which automates the detection of defects.
