Users can show and share results more easily with new PNG formatting in Version 2024.1
As the speed of product manufacturing continues to quicken, the inspection processes required to ensure quality assurance equally have become increasingly important. For industries including automotive, electronic, and medical, to keep up with demand, the ease of use of quality assurance software is pivotal.
The latest edition of Volume Graphics' non-destructive evaluation software, 2024.1, aims to improve data interpretation, presentation, and collaboration capabilities. By proving improvements in these key areas, the software allows users to easily refine, integrate, and share product-manufacturing-quality results and initiatives.
The software incorporates the following architecture: VGSTUDIO MAX, VGSTUDIO, VGMETROLOGY, VGinLINE, and myVGL. By adding these additional products from Volume Graphics, the software allows for enhanced automation and customisable deep-learning tools.
New features in version 2024.1:
- HTML reports on functionality which is supported by 3D interactive parts or results view.
- Any Chromium-based browser (e.g., Chrome or Edge) can access self-contained documents at any stage of the quality assurance process.
- PNG export functionality has been added to the software. This was a user-requested change that allows PNG to be used as a storage or data-exchange format. Additionally, this change will allow for more powerful visualisations, reports, and presentations with a faster workflow due to the quicker exports and imports of files.
- Updates to the Volume Graphics’ porosity inclusion analysis (PIA) capabilities have been made. This should make it easier for users to be compliant with P 202 and P 203 requirements.
Additionally, linear functionality has been improved. This will especially appeal to users who require geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Common linear size abbreviations are now displayed within report graphics, which simplifies standard conform measurements.
