TEVET partners Raytheon for DoD Mentor-Protégé program
TEVET has announced its strategic partnership with Raytheon, an RTX business, as part of the Department of Defence’s (DoD) Mentor-Protégé Program. The test and measurement solutions provider will receive mentoring, guidance, and assistance from the global authority in aerospace and defence. This particular partnership aims to advance capabilities in radar, Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO), and radio communications systems.
The program is facilitated by the Department of the Navy and sponsored by the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Major Buying Command (MBC). By being part of the program, a small business will be partnered with an established defence contractor to promote growth and development. Smaller businesses will be able to explore ways to enhance their capabilities, become more competitive, and potentially go on to gain DoD contracts and subcontracts in the future.
“Collaborating with Raytheon under the DoD's Mentor-Protégé Program is not just an honour; it's a strategic evolution for TEVET,” said Tracy Solomon, CEO of TEVET. “This partnership empowers us to significantly expand technological frontiers, providing our customers with unparalleled innovative solutions. We are thrilled to deepen our relationship with Raytheon, leveraging our combined expertise to foster groundbreaking advancements and drive dynamic success in the global aerospace and defence sector.”
The Liberty platform by TEVET provides high performance, user programmability, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness and is a keen example of the shift towards software-defined capabilities in real-time testing.
