SHINING 3D's FreeScan Trak Pro2 and FreeScan Combo+
SHINING 3D reveals its two new metrology 3D scanning systems, the FreeScan Trak Pro2 and the FreeScan Combo+. The solution comprises of three devices: the FreeTrak tracking bar, TE25 portable scanner, and the FreeProbe contact probe. The 3D precision solutions provider showcased its latest launches at Control Messe last week.
The new additions to the FreeScan range aim to offer an efficient, precise, and convenient 3D inspection workflow. SHINING 3D believe that the solutions are ideal for applications within the automotive, aerospace, power generation, and ship maintenance industries.
According to the developers, the dynamic referencing and markerless operation aspects of the technologies are its main advantages. Additionally, the extendable measuring range, which claims to minimise the need for leapfrogging during repositioning, also provides a significant appeal.
