Optimax at the Smart Factory Expo 2024
Optimax is set to exhibit a selection of production metrology solutions at the Smart Factory Expo in Birmingham next month. The inspection and measurement systems supplier hopes to show manufacturers a selection of instruments that will help them gain and maintain high-quality results.
The three main metrology solutions that visitors will be able to find at Optimax’s stand include the eviXmatic 2.0 Automatic scanning and measuring system, the Bruker Alicona InfiniteFocus G6 3D optical metrology system, and the Inspekto S70 industrial visual inspection solution.

eviXmatic 2.0 Automatic scanning and measuring system
eviXscan 3D's solution is a five-axis 3D scanning system which can be used in the fast, repetitive measuring and quality inspection of objects with minimal input from the operator. With the addition of the Automation module, the device can be easily connected to the scanner.
Bruker Alicona InfiniteFocus G6 3D optical metrology system
Providing accurate, fast, and universal optical 3D measurements, the InfiniteFocus G6 system can operate within the µm and the sub-µm range. Bruker Alicona’s solution is ideal for applications in optical surface roughness measurement and shape measurement.
The metrology system can provide results relating to component size, material, geometry, weight, and surface finish. Additionally, the user does not require an extensive knowledge of metrology, with the MetMax software, the system becomes fully automated.
Inspekto S70
The industrial visual inspection system by Inspekto encapsulates simplicity and immediacy, allowing the product to be deployed in less than a day. Combining unique electro-optics and Autonomous Machine Vision AI (AMV-AI) technology, quality inspection results can be versatile, easy to deploy, and easily adaptable without extensive expertise.
Additionally, Optimax’s stand will also house a selection of HD and manual remote visual inspection borescopes as well as a variety of handheld measurement tools that can be used for everyday tasks.
