OGP UK invites manufacturers to enhance measurement and inspection capabilities in medical device manufacturing at its one-day metrology event.
The showcase event will take place on Thursday 23rd March 2023 at OGP’s Advanced Innovation Centre in Foston, Derby and is tailored for multiple industries with highly-demanding applications.
Medical device manufacturers are encouraged to bring along their most challenging devices to see the full benefits of multi-sensor inspection first-hand.
Graham Shaw, OGP UK sales manager said: “We are excited to invite medical device manufacturers to our exclusive Metrology Day. This event is a unique opportunity for attendees to learn and discover how you can solve some of the challenges facing quality control today.”
The event will also feature expert keynote speakers who are leaders in the field of dimensional inspection, reverse engineering, quality control and data management.
- Colby Finn is vice president of marketing at OGP and will discuss the future of quality control, and the applications for ZONE3 software.
- Gene Van Patten is director of sales at Prolink, and will discuss how data is king, and how SPC software is leading the way.
- David O’Connor is director of sales at ShapeGrabber and will discuss the applications for 3D scanning and how it can be used for inspection, quality control and reverse engineering, particularly for 3D printed devices.
The Metrology Day is focussed on multi-sensor technology, as well as 3D scanning and optical measurement, and will offer machine demonstrations from the Vantage range, SP range, the CNC range and the ShapeGrabber range, as well as various retrofit options ideal for fragile applications like the Feather Probe and TeleStar laser.
