Kreon Skyline XTRA WIDE 3D scanner
Kreon has unveiled its Skyline XTRA WIDE 3D scanner. Compared to its predecessors, the latest edition utilises technologies to augment the 3D scanning experience using an extra-wide laser line width. This also allows the system to scan large parts used in various industry sectors.
According to the 3D measurement specialists, the new solution should provide the user with rapid scanning, allow for comprehensive coverage, and capture very small details.
Key features of the Skyline XTRA WIDE 3D scanner:
- 300 mm wide laser line that aims to reduce the number of scan passes of a manufactured part.
- Acquisition speed of 600.000 pts/sec allowing the scanner to capture dense points cloud over the surface.
- Quick movements with high-frequency settings.
- Optimal accuracy of 28 µm, even on reflective or shiny surfaces.
Additionally, the Skyline XTRA WIDE 3D scanner is also compatible with Kreon’s measuring arms to provide effortless scanning. By combining the duo, the user will experience a streamlined and intuitive scanning experience with improved productivity and accessibility.
