Keyence LJ-X8000 full series line-up
Keyence has successfully launched its latest range of laser profilers, the LJ-X8000 Series. The automation and inspection solutions provider’s new systems are set to provide in-line measurement and inspection processes. Additionally, the sensors offer 3200 points/profile, allowing them to measure any shape or material with high levels of accuracy, leading to high-resolution images.
In order to achieve an improved level of resolution, the number of pixels on the CMOS must be increased. To do this, you must make each pixel smaller, however, this can lead to insufficient light detection and an inaccurate profile on specific targets. Keyence’s latest systems feature new technology which ensures the high-resolution measurement of any target.
Key features of the Keyence LJ-X8000 Series:
- Maximum laser linewidth over 720mm (28”).
- Multiple lasers can be paired together to scan larger objects.
- Improved ease of use, making it suitable for both beginners and experts.
- Programming can be completed in three steps.
- Compatible with all materials.
- Enhanced reliability with four times more resolution.
The LJ-X8000 series can be used in multiple applications including weld inspection, terminal pitch and height difference, 360° surface inspection, terminal height, building materials, and uniformity inspection. Additionally, Keyence claims that the laser profilers will be ideal for organisations in any industry.
