INSPHERE joins the Renishaw Channel Partner Programme
INSPHERE has announced that the company will join the Renishaw Channel Partner Programme. The robotic performance technology developer will help provide Renishaw’s RCS product series which aims to transform the commissioning and servicing processes of industrial automation technologies.
INSPHERE’s vast expertise in industrial robot performance technologies will provide a unique insight into Renishaw’s RCS product series. The collaboration will also provide the global engineering technologies specialist with process control measures for advanced, automated manufacturing that was not previously available to users of industrial robots.
“The manufacturing industry is at an exciting inflection point with intelligent automation now becoming a reality. We’re delighted to be collaborating with Renishaw in offering new and exciting products in this space. Renishaw’s automation range perfectly complements our broader portfolio including IONA and our ORA software platform, all of which aim to improve robot performance and process control,” said Ben Adeline, CEO of INSPHERE Ltd.
He continued, “By applying these solutions to industrial robots we enable enhanced levels of flexibility, autonomy and awareness, creating more versatile and higher performance automation solutions.”
The new Renishaw RCS product range will feature three products:
- RCS L-90: A ballbar device that aims to improve robot system accuracy while also reducing deployment timings. Additionally, it will also monitor robot health with simple routines.
- RCS T-90: A tri-ballbar system which claims to allow users to identify the root causes of poor performance levels. Other comprehensive tests like remastering the joint offsets to calculated positions and the plotting of 3D path performance can capture critical robot information.
- RCS P-series: Integrates a permanent Renishaw probing solution within a robot cell. This will allow for the application of in-process metrology and the automatic recovery to automation processes.
