Elite Robots' all-in-one solution integrates the CS620 robotic arm
Elite Robots will exhibit a selection of all-in-one solutions and collaborative robots (cobots) at the Automate Show in Chicago (May 6-9). After a successful 2023, which saw the company experience “substantial growth” with a 3,000 cobot unit order from a Fortune 500, Elite Robots is hoping to further cement its position in the industry.
“There can be no better showcase than Automate 2024, the largest robotics and automation event in North America,” said Moritz Garroz, Elite Robots’ General Manager for the Americas. “The entire region is currently booming in manufacturing, and the network we have built over the past 3 years gives us the capacity and flexibility to serve it well.”
What are Elite Robots bringing to Automate 2024?
All-in-one palletising solution
The solution works through the use of pallet position sensors which inform the robot when an empty pallet is ready to be used. While the additional proximity sensors and dynamic safety plans ensure safety.
The solution is equipped with the Elite Robots’ CS620 robotic arm which has a 20kg payload and 1800mm radius. With the added lifting column, the robot will have an increased reach and a custom-crafted end-of-arm tool.
In terms of software, the all-in-one solution features an embedded palletising wizard that ensures improved ease of use, speedy setup, and real-time monitoring of the production status.
Ultra-flexible mobile welding solution
The solution features a mobile trolley for faster redeployment times and a customisable welder for improved compatibility with welding types. It also has an integrated magnetic base and the ability to install a welding arm at multiple angles.
The welding solution will first be previewed at the Assembly Show South in Nashville (May 1-2) at the elliTek Inc stand. Attendees will be able to see that the solution can be deployed with either the EC or CS series cobot arms and can reach a maximum range of 1800mm (with the CS620).
Vision system
Combining Shining 3D’s latest scanner with the EC64-19 robotic arm from Elite Robots, this vision system will be able to inspect large components.
“Inspection applications are one of our main strengths,” continued Garroz. “We have deployed several units of EC66 for EV accessories testing at the Mexican plant of global leader ZF, and with this specially designed solution for large components we can literally push the limits.”
