SuPAR in action
CDMVision has announced its new augmented reality visual inspection software, SuPAR AI. The augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies developer claims its latest launch will be ideal for use in a variety of different industry settings, with various specialised modules able to inspect different product lines. These different modules include:
- Hole detection module which identifies any discrepancies in holes that have been drilled into parts. Using this module, actual parts will be compared to their 3D CAD data counterparts to ensure all holes have been drilled in the correct locations.
- Spot welding detection module provides an in-depth assessment of the quality and integrity of spot welds in the manufacturing process. All spot welds are analysed using deep learning technology to ensure they meet tolerance and quality standards.
- The stud inspection module will ensure that all studs have been installed correctly and are present in manufactured parts. This module aims to guarantee that the part is ready for the following assembly stages and that no errors have occurred.
CDMVision launches SuPAR
SuPAR AI aims to transform traditional visual quality control processes by utilising AI-driven modules and AR technology. By leveraging deep learning features, SuPAR AI offers enhanced efficiency and accuracy levels in manufacturing processes. With the addition of the software’s plug-and-plan architecture, CDMVision hopes SuPAR AI will help with the increasing demand and workload seen in manufacturing by providing users with a selection of automated visual inspection modules.
CDMVision claims that SuPAR AI improves the accuracy and reliability levels of inspections while speeding up the production process without having to compromise on quality assurance. If conducted correctly, the presence of this new software should also help save money and enhance productivity levels.
