The return of the leading show on quality assurance

The 34th Control international trade show for quality assurance will be held in Stuttgart from the 3rd to the 6th of May 2022

After a two year hiatus due to the pandemic, the German trade show on cutting-edge advances in vision technology, image processing and sensor technology is back.

Despite a huge improvement in digital exhibiting, it is no match for the in-person exhibitions and Control, with it's huge exhibitor list spread over six halls, is the perfect place to reconvene. Interestingly, despite trepidations about international travel surrounding the events industry, 35% of the exhibitors for this year's Control are from outside of Germany.

There is a huge need for technical discussion on new developments in the QA sector. Many businesses are currently implementing improved or entirely new QA systems, driven by rising levels of automation and digitalisation, contactless processes, remote services, small lot sizes, and zero-defect manufacturing. The requirement for quality assurance in all processes, including data analysis and end-to-end traceability, now affects nearly all business segments – both industrial and service.

"QA solutions have never been as important as they are at the moment,” points out Control’s project manager. Over the last two years, solutions and systems in the fields of measuring and test technology, materials testing, analysis equipment, vision technology, image processing, sensor technology, and weighing and counting technology have advanced significantly and will be presented to a highly interested expert audience at Control 2022.

“For me personally, the 34th Control will be an additional reason to celebrate in 2022 – in addition to Kordt’s 75th anniversary,” said Thomas Jantzen, CEO and managing partner of measuring tool and gauge manufacturing company, Kordt in a previous press release. “We’re pleased to be able to meet up with our customers and partners again during our anniversary year in 2022. As the leading trade fair for measuring technology, Control has been offering an ideal forum for personal contact for decades,” confirms Jantzen.

In keeping with the principle of “Precision for Performance”, Kordt will be exhibiting new developments in the field of automation and operator-independent measuring systems. “By means of personal discussion, we want to find out how we can help our customers improve their performance with our precision equipment,” observes Jantzen.
