ZOLLER to premiere new automation system at IMTS 2024

ZOLLER is preparing to unveil its latest automation system at IMTS 2024 in Chicago this September. The precision systems specialist will showcase a wide range of technologies including tool presetting, measuring, inspection, heat-shrinking, balancing, tooling, tool management, and automation solutions. The premier of the new system aligns with ZOLLER’s theme for the show, ‘Start with a solution’.

The new automation system, the coraMeasure LG, gives tools assembled in a pallet system to a linear robot which then loads the tools into a ZOLLER venturion (a presetting and measuring machine). This should allow the user to save time, prevent errors, and minimise the engineers' workload.

Technologies ZOLLER is exhibiting at IMTS:

  • Automated tool measurement system, coraMeasure LG.
  • Automated tool cleaning, inspection, laser marking and loading, roboSet 2 system for 24/7 lights-out tool measuring and inspection applications.
  • The powerShrink is a heat-shrink system that can heat-shrink tools in less than 60 seconds. 
  • The toolBalancer system which balances tool holders, tool assemblies, and grinding wheels within 0.5-gram millimetres to protect CNC machines and extend tool life.
  • ZOLLER’s Toolholders will also be highlighted at IMTS.
  • Like the coraMeasure LG, the zidCode 4.0 will also be introduced at IMTS. The networked communication platform has enhanced z.DMI capabilities will allow the solution to communicate with various CNC machine tool controllers directly.
  • The torquematic presetting and measuring machine.
