SHINING 3D's EXModel.
SHINING 3D unveils its new 3D software, EXModel. The solution aims to provide users with a bridge that will help improve the transitional process from 3D scan to CAD modelling. By utilising this platform, users should experience improved workflows, an intuitive user interface, and enhanced reverse engineering.
Another key benefit that the precision 3D solutions specialist highlights is that EXModel will help companies streamline their workflows. As the software converts 3D scans into CAD models, EXModel works as a comprehensive reverse engineering solution. Files can then be exported using a variety of different options, for example, IGES or STEP file formats can be integrated with other CAD/CAM software packages.
Bridging your scan data and CAD models.
“EXModel is an excellent choice for users who want a cost-effective reverse engineering solution,” said Rebecca Khoo, Product Director at SHINING 3D. “Whether for those with reverse engineering experience hoping to get multifunctional software at an affordable price, or for beginners to reverse engineering software, it is an ideal choice. SHINING 3D provides this proven cost-effective solution for reverse design applications in various industries.”
Additionally, SHINING 3D is also offering an EXModel Pro package which is classed as an integrated reverse engineering solution. Including all of the features of the standard edition, the Pro version also boasts additional tools to simplify the steps to transform meshes into CAD solid models.
“The launch of EXModel symbolises an important milestone for SHINING 3D, bringing the company one step closer to its goal of providing comprehensive solutions,” explained Zhechen Dai, the Engineer responsible for the software development. “For example, we all know free-form surfacing is one of the toughest things in reverse engineering, the technology provided by EXModel makes it easier and more accessible for everyone. It is designed to integrate with EinScan HX, allowing EinScan HX users to directly open this function from the software.”
The solution is currently integrated with EXScan HX, FreeScan, and EXStar software. This allows users of EinScan HX, FreeScan Combo Series, FreeScan UE Pro and Einstar, to directly open this function from the software. Greater compatibility is expected in the future.
