Scantech hopes to revolutionise precision in 3D scanning, with the TrackScan Sharp-S. According to its developers, the solution boasts improvements in speed, precision, and versatility, as it aims to “redefine precision and efficiency” in 3D scanning projects.

Key features of the TrackScan Sharp-S:

  • Precise measurements: Offers tracking distance of up to 8.5 metres and a volumetric range of 135 m³. Large components can be measured from a single position with the system's adaptive LED algorithm and long-distance depth of field.
  • Enhanced speed and precision: Boasts a scanning rate of up to 4.86 million measurements per second, with a scanning window of 800 x 700mm and 81 blue laser lines. The solution also offers an accuracy of up to 0.048mm.
  • Wireless freedom: The TrackScan Sharp-S provides the user with wireless 3D scanning capabilities. Eliminating the need for cables, the solution supports operational flexibility and efficiency with the accurate data capture of a variety of environments.
