DG5000 Pro Series Generators.
RIGOL Technologies (RIGOL) has expanded its performance measurement equipment portfolio with the DG5000 Pro Series Generators and DHO/MHO5000 Series Oscilloscopes. The latter brings performance improvements to the company’s existing high-resolution oscilloscopes, with the former providing similar benefits to RIGOL’s Pro Series arbitrary waveform generators.
“The release of the DHO/MHO5000 Series and DG5000 Pro Series instruments are fantastic examples of RIGOL's ongoing mission to deliver performance and functionality-packed test equipment at an affordable price,” said Spyros Lazaris, General Manager of RIGOL Technologies USA. “We can't wait to get these scopes and generators in the hands of engineers, researchers, and educators everywhere.”

DHO/MHO5000 Series.
The DHO/MHO5000 Series is a family of high-resolution oscilloscopes developed to meet the design, debugging, and test requirements of a wide range of demanding measurement applications.
About the DHO/MHO5000
This series is made up of digital oscilloscopes boasting configurations with four or eight analogue input channels, with either 500 MHz or 1 GHz bandwidth. The solutions also deliver 4 GSa/s maximum real-time sampling, with 4-channel units supplying rates across all channels.
The oscilloscopes provide the necessary performance for users to conduct accurate testing of complex waveforms as well as support for measurements in elaborate application settings.
Key features of the DHO/MHO5000:
- Combines 12-bit resolution with up to 1 GHz bandwidth.
- Includes up to eight channels and 500 Mpts record length.
- Mixed-signal configurations are possible by combining four to six analogue input channels with 16 digital channels with similar bandwidth choices.
- Improved usability with a 10.1-inch colour touch screen and improved signal visualisation.
About the DG5000 Pro
These generators support multi-pulse output, various analogue and digital modulation types, and IQ digital modulation. The solution features ground isolation capabilities to address waveform generation risks like interference from ground loops, damage to sensitive electronic equipment due to potential differences, and signal impurity as a result of parasitic effects.
The DG5000 Pro series can be used in applications like embedded circuit development, power device performance verification, automotive electronic design signal simulation, consumer electronic sensor signal simulation, logic chip development, and optoelectronic device research. In fact, the solution will bring improvements to performance and value levels.
Key features of the DG5000 Pro:
- Provides 16-bit vertical resolution with up to 500 MHz maximum output frequency.
- Boasts 2.5 GSa/s maximum sample rate and fast 0.8 nk (800 ps) square wave rise time.
- Supports users' high-frequency waveform and complex sequence generation.
- Delivers a maximum arbitrary waveform length of 128 Mpts/channel (64 Mpts/channel is the standard) with a 10.1-inch colour touch screen.
- Optional Sequence Mode enables repeat, wait, event, and jump functions.
