Renishaw
Renishaw to attend Formnext 2024.
Renishaw will launch the latest edition of its RenAM 500 series at Formnext 2024. The metal additive manufacturing (AM) systems utilise advanced laser technology and intelligent process monitoring capabilities to enhance control levels throughout the AM process. Renishaw’s AM experts will host demonstrations of the new system at the company’s stand in Frankfurt.
The latest edition to the product family aims to ensure the quality of parts but at a lower price point. Additionally, the latest RenAM 500 Ultra system comes integrated with the company’s TEMPUS technology allowing lasers to fire as the recoater moves, removing up to nine seconds of build time per layer. Users of the RenAM 500 series systems can upgrade their pre-existing solutions to incorporate the TEMPUS technology.
“After launching our most recent developments, TEMPUS technology and the RenAM 500 Ultra, at Formnext 2023, it felt natural to launch our next system at this year’s show,” said Louise Callanan, Director of Additive Manufacturing at Renishaw. “The reception at the event last year was incredibly positive, with attendees excited about the exceptional results they could achieve with more productive systems.”
Callanan continued, “Reducing cost per part has always been integral to widening the adoption of AM. Our most recent launch of TEMPUS technology and the RenAM 500 Ultra system focused on productivity, helping manufacturers reduce build times by up to 50%. As we develop the latest system in the RenAM 500 series, Renishaw aims to lower the entry barrier to metal AM, to ensure that manufacturers of any size can find a system that provides value and quality.”
If you are attending Formnext from November 19 to 22, you will be able to locate Renishaw in Hall 11.0, Booth C11.
