Renishaw has announced its new Group General Counsel and Company Secretary, Kasmin Hussain. He will lead the Group's legal, compliance, and company secretarial functions, as well as the regional legal and compliance teams. Having joined in July 2024, Kasim will help provide strategic direction for Renishaw’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee, particularly regarding risk and governance.

Before entering his new role, Kasim was Group Divisional Counsel at the global engineering group, Spirax Group plc. He has also held roles in private practice, undertaking M&A at various leading international firms including Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Addleshaw Goddard. Additionally, Kasim also studied Law at the University of Warwick and is a practicing Solicitor in England and Wales.
