Pasternack, an Infinite Electronics brand, has unveiled its new millimetre-wave horn antennas. The new series has been designed to meet the needs of test and measurement applications within the tech industry. According to the RF, microwave, and millimetre-wave product manufacturer, the new product line includes probe antennas and dual polarised horn antennas of varying waveguides, offering improved flexibility and a performance range within the 22 GHz and 170 GHz frequency range.
“These mmWave horn antennas are set to enhance the way professionals in the industry conduct tests and measurements,” said Kevin Hietpas, Product Line Manager. “They offer a blend of performance and flexibility.”
Pasternack’s mmWave horn antennas come in sizes from WR-6 to WR-34 with either U-round, U-square, U-mod, and U-cover flanges. Probe antennas provide nominal gains of 6.5 dBi, while dual polarised antennas provide 15 dBi gains, allowing for high precision levels in characterised antennas and wireless systems. Improved levels of accuracy and reliability are also ensured with precision machining and a low VSWR of less than 1.3.
Each solution is manufactured using high-grade copper with a gold plating finish. Additionally, the antennas are linearly/circularly polarised which ensures versatility in various testing scenarios.
