Portable Spectometer CM-17d
Konica Minolta Ltd has announced the launch of its first portable instrument with an electronic viewfinder, the CM-17d as well as the CM-16d. Both are vertical, lightweight, portable spectrophotometers and will be available this summer. The spectrophotometers are ideal for users in the automotive, tech, plastic or construction material sectors.
With the addition of the electronic viewfinder, the precise positioning of samples is now possible which would have previously been difficult to achieve. The new spectrophotometers are ideal for applications where the measuring of small samples, especially on curved or patterned services, is required. Especially if coloured measurements in particular are needed.
Key features of the CM-17d spectrophotometer:
- User-centred design provides a simple user experience with its ergonomic design.
- The camera viewfinder makes positioning easier, making accurate measurements more achievable.
- Measurement times have been reduced by around 30% with improved data compatibility.
- The charging cradle allows the device to be ready to use and easy to store.
- With the Konica Minolta’s Wavelength Analysis and Adjustment, wavelength deviations like impact during use and changes in ambient temperature are easily dealt with.
- By adding the SpectraMagic NX2 colour management software, digital colour data storage, analysis, and communication are all possible.
By utilising Konica Minolta’s new spectrophotometers, the user should see improvements in quality control, production and R&D.
