imc STUDIO 2024
imc Test & Measurement, an Axiometrix brand, has unveiled the latest version of its imc STUDIO 2024. Improvements have been made to the efficient input and management of metadata for measurement documentation and more support for convenient calibration of measurement microphones and a Python interface to enhance post-processing data analysis options. Additional functionality and usability improvements have also been made with quicker reaction speeds.
Test engineers will now be able to concentrate even more on the core competencies, specifically on the reliable execution of measurements and the interpretation of results. Among the new upgrades, the software platform can record the complete calibration history of measurement microphones to aid with traceability and trend detection.
The user will gain more valuable insights by storing measurement data for later use, especially with the addition of test conditions, parameters, and environmental variables. With the new upgrades, the imc STUDIO will prompt the user to input and assign metadata in either text or numerical form for measurement data.
Measurement data can also be combined with popular programming languages with the new Python interface, for example, in post-processing fields of machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI). More analysis methods will now be available to the user as they can integrate algorithms coded in Python.
