imc's ARGUSfit B-4 measurement module.
imc has expanded its application range for modular clickable imc ARGUSfit data acquisition with the new ARGUSfit B-4 measurement module. Now, the new module can go beyond applications within mechanical structure or fatigue strength tests.
The ARGUSfit B-4 measurement module hosts four isolated measurement channels which can be individually configured, for example with individual measurement modes, data rates, or sensor supply voltages. This allows the module to complete new applications like vibration measurements with piezoresistive accelerometers or pressure and blast sensors in bridge-based technology.
Key features of the ARGUSfit B-4:
- Extended temperature range between -40° and +85°C.
- Features four measurement channels, each with 100 ksps per channel and a bandwidth of 40 kHz.
- Pure voltage mode from 25 mV to 10 mV.
- Has an integrated sensor which supplies up to 15 V/0.5 W per channel.
- Utilises the LEMO.1B connector for measurement inputs, as well as a patent-pending LEMO terminal connector.
Relating to fatigue strength analysis, the new module supports all conceivable bridge and strain gauge modes, including internal quarter bridge extension for 120 Ω, 350 Ω, and 1 kΩ. Additionally, the bridge supply can be set to a minimum of 0.5 V for strain gauge applications on carbon or composite to minimise self-heating of the strain gauges.
