CRYSOUND 8120 Series acoustic imaging camera.
CRYSOUND has unveiled its new CRY8120 Series of acoustic imaging cameras for industrial inspection. The cameras aim to improve speed and precision in the detection of gas leaks, partial discharges, and mechanical deterioration. According to the series’ developers, the new solutions will be able to detect these problems 10 times quicker than traditional methods.
The cameras will work by pinpointing the leak location and assessing potential losses, with environmental risks and personal safety in mind. Users will also be able to be more proactive with maintenance tasks with the addition of a real-time PRPD chart display aiding with identifying electrical discharge types.
Key features of the CRY8120 Series:
- Includes 200 microphones.
- 100 kHz bandwidth.
- Weighs only 1.4kg.
- 8-inch display with 1920x1200 resolution and 13 million pixels.
- 6x digital zoom and 600 nits display brightness.
- Up to five-hour battery life.
- Features Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
- Improved computing power.
- The testing distance has been extended by up to 200 meters.
- Supports infrared modules.
With the cameras’ thermal imaging capabilities, the solutions will be able to provide enhanced industrial inspection by providing simultaneous thermal and acoustic imaging displays. This makes the CRY8120 Series more efficient as it eliminates the need to switch between the two settings.
Additionally, real-time report editing is possible and data can be imported using its Wi-Fi feature.
