Altair partners CGI.
Altair has announced its partnership with independent IT and business consulting firm, CGI. The duo aims to speed up IT modernisation and digital transformation for organisations all over the world. Additionally, the pair hope to enable others to harness the capabilities of artificial intelligence (AI).
“This partnership is further evidence of our commitment to helping organisations advance their digital transformation efforts through best-in-class data science and AI-driven technologies,” said Stephanie Buckner, Chief Operating Officer at Altair. “Collaborating with an experienced, trusted, and forward-thinking partner like CGI further bolsters our efforts and helps our customers unlock new opportunities to achieve their boldest goals.”
Through this partnership, both companies hope to innovate the data science software found in the Altair RapidMiner data analytics and AI platform including Altair AI Studio and Altair SLC, a SAS language compiler. The latter empowers organisations to move to a flexible, modern analytics platform. Altair SLC runs programs written in SAS language without the need for translation or third-party products or licences.
By combining Altair’s software capabilities with CGI’s business and strategic IT consulting expertise, users should be able to navigate complex IT landscapes and legacy systems. With Altair’s RapidMiner platform, users can improve operational efficiencies and business outcomes by utilising AI.
Douglas Vargo, Vice President of Consulting Services at CGI, added, “CGI’s scientific rigour and human-centric AI approach, combined with Altair’s solutions, empowers organisations to advance their modernisation and digital strategy to realise both immediate and enduring business value from their AI investments.”
