Aerospace and defence manufacturer Rossell Techsys opens calibration and metrology lab

Rossell Techsys has unveiled its new calibration and metrology lab located in Devanahalli, Bangalore. The company, which specialises in providing engineering and manufacturing services to customers within the aerospace and defence sectors, hopes the new facility represents its dedication to improving quality and precision standards.

Present at the unveiling of the new lab was Vice President and General Manager of Fabrication for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Peter Johnson. Rossell Techsys hopes that the development can represent its commitment to customer-centric investments, customer satisfaction, and improved value delivery.

"This facility represents our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of precision and quality in all aspects of our operations. The new facility is expected to gain ISO17025 certification according to the aerospace and defence manufacturers. Rossell Techsys produces over 3000 parts, with over 2000 of those parts for Boeing alone. The facility will aim to use the company's integrated operations to ensure meticulous control over the metrology process, ensuring high levels of accuracy and reliability across all products. In addition, the in-house facility which has a close proximity to the shop floors will reduce calibration times and maximise efficiency.
