SmartRay has unveiled its new office branch located in South Korea. The 3D technology supplier is motivated by the growing semiconductor and electric vehicle market in the country. The company is hoping to break into the market with its 3D sensor solution expertise.

Key information:

As a result of the semiconductor and electric vehicle demand increase, there has been a simultaneous surge in demand for 3D sensor products that can inspect and measure parts including batteries, chips, displays, and electric parts. While SmartRay has already been involved in the supplying of these technologies, through partnerships with system integrators, they are now aiming to boost its presence through the new office located in Seoul, South Korea.

As a leading manufacturer in the electronics sector, South Korea is known for having extremely high standards when it comes to technology changes and trends. SmartRay believes they already follow the same kind of approaches that the South Korean industry dictates when it comes to the quality standards of its 3D sensor solutions. This leads the company to believe that it can easily integrate itself into the Korean market.

“It is my pleasure to introduce our innovative 3D technology to Korean customers,” said Sungryul Hong, the Sales Manager of the new office. “Establishing a branch in Korea will help us stay closer to our customers, and I am confident that more will benefit from our best price-performance 3D sensors in all kinds of manufacturing sectors.”
